The centrality of God in religion

God is central for all religions

Religion according to Oxford Dictionary is:
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods
There are two major features characterized by all the main religions of the world. The first is the belief in God or gods, a supreme divinity that is
  • omnipotent
  • and omniscient
The second feature is that followers of all religions believe that the god they worship is the same god for them as well as for all the others.

  1. Jacob Leszczynski-

I believe in One God and that every God is a form of the one true God. I think he is central and everyone is conscious and aware that he most supremely exists everywhere. The bicameral mind tells us that we cannot se Him but when we come to Him as one central body or church, we become blessed and endowed with his loving kindness. The center is beyond apprehension. Our spirits are then indwelled within the body producing a common feeling and state of mind whereby we are with Him as we are always. The best part of life is that we go to our Father in prayer and knowledge, that we belong to Him and that he can see our lives and promote happiness and blessings. He is always there for us and never leaves.
